Backup Hosting
Backup Hosting provides daily and weekly backups of your source public_html folder and database(s). Seven (7) daily backups and four (4) weekly backups are kept. So, the furthest that you can go back is a month.
Your hosting account must be able to run cron jobs to a remote host (most cPanel web hosts allows this, although some require you to have a dedicated IP address). Some hosting providers limit the number of cron jobs that you are allowed to run, you must be able to run a cron job for daily backups, another for weekly backups and if you want monthly backups another cron job.
Each night when the cron job is run an email message is sent which we check to make sure no problems have occurred. Each week we check that the backups have been uploaded to the remote hosting account successfully.

You can add the option of having your mail folder backed up as well.
Monthly Backups Option
You can added the option of having four (4) monthly backups kept in addition to the daily and weekly backups.
VPS Full cPanel Backup Option
For clients that are using Keashly.ca Consulting hosting or are using cPanel VPS or cPanel dedicated hosting we can provide the option of doing a complete account backup quarterly. This type of backup will backup everything in your cPanel account and is the backup that is used to move from one cPanel hosting provider to another cPanel hosting provider. So, if something were to happen to the server, you can quickly restore this backup on another server and be up and running again very quickly.
You must have access to and be able to edit the root crontab in order for this type of backup to be setup.

If you would like to pay your Backup hosting fee by credit card via PayPal you need to setup a PayPal recurring subscription, as well as paying the initial setup fee. To do this, click both the Subscribe and Pay Now buttons. If you are switching from paying by cheque to credit card, just click the Subscribe button to setup the recurring payment. Your PayPal emails will be your receipt for Backup hosting fees.
If you choose to pay by cheque you will be invoiced and the first invoice will include your initial hosting setup fee.
