Using Non-web Based Fonts

KC Cufón font replacement pluginOn the majority of the sites that I have built or worked on, a non-web based font is usually used for headers and special text. There are a number of different methods of using non-web based fonts on your website. In the past, I had been using sIFR, but it is slow, difficult to setup and get working. I recently came across a JavaScript alternative method called Cufón.

Admin Quick Icons

KC Admin QuickIcons moduleI needed a way to add some more Quick Icons to the Administrator backend Control Panel in Joomla! 1.5. Many of the components and extensions that you add to your Joomla! site don't have a quick icon link in the Control Panel which most uses find very handy. I wrote this module so I could go into the module parameters and easily add whatever quick icon links I needed for the site.

VirtueMart Registration Redirect

KC VM Registration Redirect pluginI was recently setting up a VirtueMart eCommerce store for a customer. VirtueMart has its own login module that you use, but what I was finding was that there were links to the Joomla! login pages that could be accessed on the site. When you got to one of the Joomla! login pages, the registration link was pointing to the Joomla! registration page, not the VirtueMart registration page.
